Celebrating art from human minds and hands

I am a history communicator, not just by relaying a body of facts but by illuminating the process of studying history and how such a process is important in everyone’s everyday lives.

Primarily, I use historical armor as a conduit to present these methods; my viewers will learn about the high and late middle ages in a more holistic way, as armor touched many facets of society and was important to society in ways that can be unfamiliar to modern perspectives.

I present online and in person: if you are interested in booking me, I supply a curated selection of historical objects and speak to their place in society and how we, as modern researchers, are able to discern this. I can present to a wide range of ages, and am happy to tailor our presentations to a given theme if so desired.

Finally, I can build you or your group custom armor. My books are currently full for 2026, but I would love to hear from you if you are interested in getting on my lest for next year and beyond!
