Presentations and lectures

Whether at a library, classroom, renaissance fair, or birthday party, I involve audiences in the fascinating world that is history.

As a history communicator, I provide more than just presenting interesting facts and physical curios, my presentations delve deeper in to the methods and results of historical research. I teach my listeners more than just about history and those who lived before them, but also about themselves and those who live around them.

My primary focus is the high and late middle ages (ca. 1100-1500). Complete with a selection of historical objects, I speak to their place in medieval society and how we, as modern researchers, are able to discern this. I can present to a diversity of groups and ages, and am happy to tailor my presentations to a given theme if so desired.

Historical Advising

We all engage in research one way or another. One of thise ways is to find and work with folks who already possess a base of knowledge, methods, and resources in the area of focus. In this case, I provide these things for queries and projects surrounding the late middle ages. And as you may expect, specifically armor-related disciplines. Whether you are producing a film or building a set of armor for yourself, I’m your gal.
