I offer a wide arrray of knowledge surrounding armor; more than just its construction or use, I can easily and confidently speak to audiences- both large and small, and of different ages- about armor’s holistic place in medieval society. It was certainly a world which was frequently touched by armor, and for that reason armor is a perfect conduit to exploring past, and present, ways of life.

More than a collection of interesting facts and physical curios, my presentations delve deeper in to the methods and results of historical research, teaching my listeners more than just about history and those who lived before them, but also about themselves and those who live around them.

I have performed at libraries, schools, and renaissance fairs accorss Wisconsin, and am happy to provide references. I build my demonstrations based on the desires of the institution or group which I am working with, so please reach out if this is something you see for your own group!
